We Teach to Save
In 1998, Institute of Fire Safety & Disaster Management Studies (IFSDMS) a private ITI started functioning in a small area with a modest seating capacity, dedicated to train students in Fire & Safety, near Sindhrot, Vadodara, Gujarat. The Institute moved over to a new and large premises in 2010, spread over 75 acres land. At present, it has four (04) trades related to Fire & Safety running with 290 sanctioned seats.
IFSDMS affiliated to National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), DGT, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of India and Gujarat Council of Vocational Training (GCVT) Govt of Gujarat.
In the campus hostel, residential cum dining facility is available with the intake capacity of 200 trainees.
We have a separate barrack for Girls.
There are about 300 mango trees and 700 pomegranate plantations. We have our own Vermiculture plant and also cultivating organic farming.
Trainees involvement is soliciated.

To provide industry oriented fire and safety emergency response quality education in a holistic environment for overall personal development.
Goals of IFSDMS

- Ensure the best teaching aids are available for imparting excellent training.
- Build and inculcate the right attitude about safe and unsafe acts.
- Teach current and updated technique in fire & safety tactics and strategies.
- Impart value added training on managing disasters, streamline and improve the emergency preparedness and response capacities.
- Evaluate live incidents/accidents through case studies for a better understanding by all trainees.
